My Top 3 Favorite Eye Makeup Products!

Sometimes it can be hard to pick good products for your eye makeup. Being that theres so many brands of makeup, and so much to choose from, I've narrowed down my 3 favorite eye makeup products! I hope this helps you guys when you go shopping for makeup!

  • Inglot Eyeshadows
    • These eyeshadows by the brand INGLOT are absolutely incredible! They are very comparable  to Mac products but they are a little bit more affordable. They have a system called the "freedom system", which means that you can create your own palette, and customize which colors are fit for you. They have a HUGE amount of colors and they are all extremely pigmented and they are really creamy. They can be found in stores in New York City, Las Vegas and a few other cities in the country. They also have a website which you can order from.

  • Sephora Brand Waterproof Eyeliner
    • These eyeliners are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. They are extremely creamy and they last ALL DAY. They aren't that expensive either! They have quite a few different colors, but the black is SUPER BLACK and it is my favorite color! These can be found in Sephora stores or on their website!

  • Urban Decay Primer Potion
    • This eye primer is my all time favorite. It is thin in consistency but yet it still keeps your eye makeup on throughout your entire day! It comes in a squeeze tube or a tube with a wand. It is about $18.00 and can be found at Sephora, Ulta or either of those websites.

I hope that this was helpful for you guys in picking out some eye products. Please comment and tell your friends and family to stay posted on future reviews and videos! Thanks for reading !

Beach Beauty Tips !

We've all experienced dry hair, and dry skin at the beach during the summer. For example, I have very curly hair, and if I don't treat it the right way at the beach, my hair tends to look dead and dry. Here are some beach tips to keep your skin and hair healthy and glowing while still soaking up the sun!

HAIR TIPS:
  • Always bring conditioner. If you have curly or wavy or color treated hair, this is a must. When you  come out of the salt water, it tends to damage your hair and dry it out.
  • Bring a comb or brush and leave in conditioner or detangler. It's super important to comb through your hair at the beach while its wet to avoid breakage and dryness.
  • If you have brown or dark hair, DON'T USE SUN IN. It will turn your hair orange... (learned from experience :(...)
SKIN TIPS:
  • ALWAYS use sunscreen of at least 15-30 SPF. This will prevent freckles, skin tags, and skin cancer or burns.
  • Use a beauty balm on the face. It works WONDERS. (I will do a review on different beauty balms, what they do, and where you can find them)
  • MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE! I cannot stress this enough! It is so so important to use a non alcohol based moisturizer on your entire body when you leave the beach. Otherwise you will find yourself with dry and cracked skin.

Thanks so much for reading! I hope this was helpful for you guys while you make your way to the beach! PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS and suggestions ! Have a great day!

My Top 3 Drugstore Brand Mascaras!

Everyone wants long, thick and beautiful lashes but sometimes the prices of high end brands are ridicules! Here I've picked my top 3 favorite drugstore brand mascaras that will work just as well as the high end brands.

Great Lash by Maybelline

Pros:

  • This mascara is CLASSIC. If you already have thick lashes this mascara will give you the length you need and it stays put all day.
  • Its only about $7.00 and it works wonders in giving your eyelashes extra length.
  • You only need to apply 2 coats of it
Cons:
  • It gives length, but you may need to mix it with another mascara for volume as well
  • It makes the lashes a little bit hard and if you don't use the right makeup remover it can damage the lashes.
Over all I definitely give this mascara a 4.5 out of 5.

Lash Blast by Covergirl

Pros
  • This mascara is great for thickening as well as lengthening, it makes the lashes look full and completes a smokey eye look wonderfully.
  • Its only about $6.00 at Target and comes with a lot of product.
  • You only need 1 coat of mascara
Cons
  • It smells a little funky
  • It tends to dry out a little bit fast
Over all I give this mascara a 4.8 out of 5.

Illegal Length Fiber Extension Mascara by Maybelline

Pros
  • Gives GREAT length to the lashes
  • Looks lightly feathered when applied
  • Nice thin wand is easy to control
Cons
  • A bit watery when applied and smudges easily before its dried
  • Tends to crumble a little bit onto the face
Over all I would give this product a 4 out of 5.

Thank you guys so much for reading ! I hope this helped you with picking a mascara thats right for you!  Please post comments and tell your friends and family to come check out my blog ! :) Thanks again!

Tips for different skin types!

If you are someone who is struggling with dry or oily skin, applying different types of makeup can get frustrating! Here I will list some different tips for these skin types that will allow you to apply makeup with ease, and help eliminate problem areas of your face!

Dry Skin Tips:
  • Try applying a moisturizer with sunscreen in it. When you apply your foundation on top, you'll notice a more dewy finish to your face without dry flaking.
  • When choosing a foundation, choose one with a satin finish, NOT a matte finish. Satin finish foundations with also give you more moisture and give more of a glow to the face. (Try the Revlon Photo Ready foundation)
  • This next tip is a bit out of the ordinary: before you go to bed at night, after taking off all of your makeup and washing your face, apply castor oil all over the face until its almost blended in. It will not clog your pores, but it will give you moisture. When you wake up, its almost gone!
  • Avoid alcohol based facial washes or scrubs. Try using a lathering facial wash that looks like a cream.
Oily Skin Tips:
  • Use a gentle cleanser on the face. While trying to eliminate the greasy finish of the skin, you don't want to strip the skin of the good oils as well.
  • When choosing a foundation, find one with more of a matte finish, not a satin finish. Matte finish foundations will make the skin look smoother, and they won't add any shine! (Try the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse or the Revlon Color Stay)
  • If you notice that your skin still looks oily after foundation, try using a loose powder applied to the forehead, nose chin and cheeks. It will help to soak up the oils.
  • You can also try using the Bare Minerals Getting Started kit. It comes with a translucent powder, 2 foundation powders and a warm bronzing powder. Because all of these products are powder, they will eliminate any shine, and soak up the oils. This product works WONDERS and gives you a beautiful flawless face when you're finished.
I hope these tips and tricks were helpful! Thank you so much for reading! Please give me feedback on your thoughts about this post, and any suggestions you may have for future blog posts!
